Kate has a successful and varied practice across the full range of civil work in Chambers. She accepts instructions in a range of common law matters including Property, Landlord & Tenant, Commercial, Personal Injury, Probate and Trusts. She has a broad experience of civil advocacy including mortgage possession, landlord and tenant, personal insolvency, debt recovery, charging orders, orders for sale and interim applications.

She acts for a full range of clients including individuals, business owners, insurers, finance companies, local authorities and charities. She is commended for her considered approach to client care and commercial awareness.

Kate appears in Court on an almost daily basis and has developed strong advocacy skills as a result. She also provides advice on a range of matters relating to property, personal injury, employment and contracts.

In addition to her practice, Kate has also held a non-executive directorship role on the board of a £24 million FMCG business which was recently sold for £56 million. Her experience of business and commercial realities informs her insightful and pragmatic approach to litigation.

Prior to joining chambers, Kate worked as a Court Advocate and “LawBrief” providing advocacy, advice and drafting services to small and medium enterprises about contracts, commercial property and employment matters. She also provided pro-bono advice and representation for the Camden Community Law Centre and the for the Duty Advice scheme at county courts.
