Today 1COR are speaking about all the recent changes in Family and Civil law at their seminar with Heringtons.
Claire Ciborowska and Kirsten Japp are kicking off the day by talking about family law, specifically recent decisions in cases involving domestic abuse, and how the courts are dealing with the distinction between domestic abuse and allegations of bad behaviour during a relationship.
Matthew Withers opens the afternoon talk on civil law with an update on ‘Protecting Assets in Contentious Probate’.
Michael Walker and Simon Sinnatt will speak on Property Litigation and Boundary Disputes respectively, whilst also touching upon the recent Court of Appeal Case (Golding v Martin [2019] EWCA Civ 446, [2019] 3 W.L.R. 138), in which Simon led Michael.
