Simon Sinnatt and Paul Ashwell will be giving a seminar on the impact of the Supreme Court decision in Jones v Kernott [2011] UKSC 53 on trusts of land, ascertaining the beneficiaries’ respective interests and suggesting how practitioners should proceed when advising co-habiting clients.

This seminar will be held on the 2nd February 2012 from 5.00pm – 6.00pm at Crown Office Row Chambers, 119 Church Street, Brighton, BN1 1UD.

Paul Ashwell has practised property and commercial law in Sussex, London and throughout England for 25 years, acting for companies, local government and private clients. He has been involved in many high profile cases, including the recent inquiry into the construction of a railway bridge in place of the level crossing on the A27 by Lewes.

Simon Sinnatt is a property law specialist practising primarily in Sussex, London and the South Coast, acting for developers, local government and private clients. He has been involved in a number of notable cases including the dispute concerning Embassy Court in Brighton, a high-profile listed building.
