Gemma Welling is joint 3rd Junior Clerk and joined chambers in January 2017 after moving on from her previous job with a Jeweller, and completing her A Levels from Lewes College in English Literature & Language, Geography and Photography.
Gemma’s current role in Chambers sees her running papers to/from court/solicitors; passing papers between members; printing and putting together bundles; taking/passing phone calls; dealing with incoming and outgoing documents; booking on of documents and still continuing to learn more skills.
Our chambers remain in the top twenty sets for client service in the legal directories, described in the 2021 guides as “the best clerking team I have dealt with. They are efficient and supportive. They go the extra mile to provide an excellent and responsive service.”
Outside of chambers, Gemma enjoys spending time with her friends, boyfriend and family. She often goes camping with her family, particularly to Norfolk in the summer months and enjoys going on days out with her boyfriend. She also tries to make time to continue with her hobby of photography.
