Rachel Baker and Anogika Souresh, assisted by Sam Freeman of the Sussex NHS Trust, delivered a talk to solicitors at Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, and West Sussex County Council. The talk explored the legal and practical effects of substance misuse on capacity and how it is assessed, as well as decisions on care needs and when and how they arise.
