After a 13 day trial at Lewes Crown Court Liam Hanley was found not guilty of attempted murder but convicted of the lesser offence of section 18 GBH. Mr Hanley was accused of trying to kill his partner by cutting her throat as she was in the bath. She sustained 39 wounds during the incident. Mr Hanley will be sentenced on 10th May 2019.
