rachael.claridge@1cor.com Profile Over 16 years, Rachael has developed a practice in all aspects of family law, with particular regard to those involving child protection issues. Her experience of Public Law proceedings is extensive. She regularly deals with emergency applications. She is happy to represent any one of the parties in a public law matter and is regularly instructed on behalf of parents, intervenors, local authorities and children's Guardians. Rachael has considerable experience in sexual and non accidental abuse cases and has often represented intervenors in such matters. Rachael often receives instructions from solicitors who have vulnerable clients and has often acted through the Official Solicitor. She hopes her manner with lay clients is approachable and straightforward, yet can explain complex and difficult terms in a way that can be understood. She very much values the opportunity to have an integrated working relationship with the professional client and to be involved in case management. Rachael is happy to be contacted for either telephone or written advice on a case. Rachael also has a great deal of experience in Private law matters, particularly those involving intractable contact disputes, national and international relocation and cases where Section 37 of the Children Act 1989 may be applicable. She is also experienced in cases where there are allegations of domestic abuse and control.
