David Evans KC specialises in clinical negligence litigation, now almost exclusively in cases involving perinatal brain injury.
He has developed a specific expertise in quantum, in particular the analysis and quantification of high value catastrophic brain injury claims. These mostly involve perinatal brain damage, but also neonatal meningitis, acquired brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
He also has extensive experience in Public Inquiries following his 8 years on the Attorney-General’s ‘A’ panel of Counsel to the Crown, and he has worked on some of the highest profile Inquiries in recent years.
