Neil Garnham QC and Robert Wastell are representing the Home Secretary and David Evans QC and Alasdair Henderson are representing the Ministry of Defence in the Public Inquiry into the death of Alexander Litvinenko which has finally got underway today in the High Court.
Alexander Litvinenko, a former employee of the Russian Security Services died in a London hospital in November 2006, apparently as a result of poisoning with polonium 210.
