Josephine Lunnon joined Chambers as a pupil in October 2025.
Before joining Chambers, Jo worked as a Judicial Assistant in the Court of Appeal, assigned to Lady Justice Davies and Lord Justice Males. She prepared Bench Memoranda on a range of appeals, offering opinions on intricate points of law.
Jo previously volunteered with Amicus ALJ, assisting with casework for clients on Death Row and helping to organise the annual Death Penalty Training. This followed her earlier role as a welfare benefits advisor at Brixton Advice Centre, where she advised and represented clients on their PIP claims and appeals. She has also volunteered with the Schools Consent Project, Student Action for Refugees, the Hate Crime Unit, and the Son-Rise Program.
Jo has worked as the Future Pupil Programme Co-ordinator at The University of Law and part-time at City of London School for Girls.
