For Lizanne and Mark it is their 11th consecutive year for the London Marathon. For the 6th consecutive year Lizanne Gumbel QC and her son, Mark Wainwright, will run both the London and Brighton Marathons, unless they are cancelled as part of the current government shutdown.
Cheer them on, donate to their charity of choice, LOOK UK, as even if the event doesn’t go ahead, this charity needs your support. This charity helps visually impaired young people and their families to help develop self-confidence, learn new skills and combat social isolation.
Each year Lizanne and Mark run the marathon to highlight their work and, even if the official event doesn’t take place, I’m sure these avid runners will have made up their steps.
Help them hit the finish line either way and reach their goal of £3000 for LOOKUK.
