Former and current members include the former Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf, four Lords Justices of Appeal, a number of High Court and Circuit Judges and three former Chairmen of the Bar.

We are proud of our history and our modern facilities, our high order advocacy and professional skills and our friendly client-oriented approach. We have always taken and continue to take seriously our commitment to the wider social duties of a responsible and caring Bar community. To this end, we run the free Human Rights Up-date service at www.humanrights.org.uk and provide financial and other support regularly to the Bar Pro Bono Unit and the Free Representation Unit. Members of all seniority regularly accept referrals from the Bar Pro Bono Unit and some actively participate in its management.
