Sir Adrian Fulford PC is today delivering his findings of fact and conclusions in the Inquests arising from the Forbury Garden Terror Attack. James Furlong, Joseph Ritchie-Bennett and David Wails died in the attack, which took place on 20 June 2020 in Reading.  Sir Adrian heard evidence for six weeks concerning the manner in which the attack was planned and conducted, the emergency response to it, and the role of various state bodies in managing the risk posed by the murderer in the days, months and years before the attack.

Peter Skelton KC and Matthew Hill represented the family of James, Joseph and David at the inquests. They are instructed by Benjamin Burrows and Fiona Huddleston of Leigh Day.
