Personal Injury

Rebekah was instructed by Leigh Day for the Claimants in a high profile 12-day High Court trial. The Claimants’ case was that the gambling company owed a duty of care to the deceased, who, in the Claimants’ submission, had tragically taken his own life, due to a deterioration in his mental health stemming from his gambling. Rebekah was led by Jeremy Hyam KC of 1 Crown Office Row and Jesse Nicholls of Matrix. The Claimants await judgment.
