Clinical Negligence

Rebekah is building both a claimant and defendant practice. Recent experience includes:

  • Rebekah recently advised a Claimant in conference and provided written advice in a delayed cancer diagnosis case.
  • Rebekah was appointed to the NHS Resolutions’ approved Counsel for Covid cases and regularly completes pleadings in such cases.
  • Rebekah was instructed as a junior on a high-value birth injury case, assisting a senior member with quantum.
  • Rebekah appears in several interlocutory hearings, including a case management and strike out in matters of clinical negligence.
  • Rebekah also provided written advice in several complex clinical negligence matters under the supervision of Richard Booth KC.
  • Rebekah drafted pleadings under the supervision of Matthew Barnes in a range of clinical negligence matters, including cauda equina and birth injury.

Rebekah also co-authored the chapter “Fatal Claims” in the upcoming edition of Clinical Negligence – A Practitioner’s Handbook edited by Elizabeth-Anne Gumbel KC and Richard Lodge.
