After a two and a half week hearing before the Medical Practitioners’ Tribunal (‘MPT’), the MPT dismissed all allegations of dishonesty against a GP working in out of hours care. The allegations against the GP included that he had, on 20 separate occasions over a 5 month period, worked at 2 different out of hours providers at the same time. The MPT went on to find the doctor’s fitness to practise was not impaired and no warning was given to the doctor.

This is Leanne’s second successful defence of dishonesty allegations before the MPT in recent months.

Leanne Woods was instructed by Lucy Yates at the MDDUS. Terence Rigby of 9 St John Street Chambers was prosecuting for the GMC.
