Congratulations to the winners of the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year (LALYs – LAPG) Outstanding Achievement award; Merry Varney, Caleb Bawdon of Leigh Day, Oliver Sanders KC and Jessica Elliott.
This award, the highest honour the LALYs can give, has been given in recognition of their hard work on behalf of the family of Molly Russell. The inquest into her death highlighted the impact of harmful content available on social media platforms and involved gathering evidence from social media companies, including Pinterest and Meta.
