The Undercover Policing Inquiry’s Interim Report was published on 29th June. The report focuses on the period from 1968 – 1982 and found that the methods used by the police to gain information were not justified. The Inquiry was set up in 2015 to investigate undercover police operations, which you can find out more about here.
