The Working Group of JUSTICE, chaired by former 1COR member Sir Robert Owen, have published their report addressing the undermining of public trust in the response of the justice system to deaths: ‘When Things Go Wrong: the response of the justice system‘.

The report recommends building on the various strengths of the current system of inquests and public inquiries to improve public confidence in the justice system. Matthew Hill contributed to the report as part of a sub-working group, using his extensive experience in inquests, inquiries and complementary clinical negligence expertise.

The report is available to download here.
