On 16th July 2019, the inquest into the London Bridge Attack concluded with the jury finding that the 3 attackers were lawfully killed by police. The Chief Coroner, His Honour Judge Mark Lucraft QC, is conducting the Inquests.

On 3rd June 2017, 8 people died when 3 attackers drove a van into pedestrians on the bridge, before exiting the vehicle and continuing their attack with knives. The victims were Christine Archibald, Xavier Thomas, Alexandre Pigeard, Sara Zelenak, Kirsty Boden, Sebastien Belanger, James McMullan,  and Ignacio Echeverria. The 3 attackers were shot dead by police firearms officers 10mins after the attack began. This week, jurors concluded that the police had given warning and that lethal force was appropriate.
