In one month, Sydney Chawatama will speak in a panel to discuss the challenges of improving diversity in the legal profession. Successful businesses recognise the benefits that a more inclusive workforce can bring through diverse skills, talent and experiences.  However, it seems that a seismic shift is required in the legal sector to drive change that will unlock BAME talent and lead to lasting improvement in their legal sector employment opportunities in a currently un-diverse workspace.

Given the huge impact and opportunities for businesses, the legal sector and the UK as a whole, Addleshaw Goddard, in collaboration with BLD, EY, MMU and an esteemed BAME panel, is delighted to organise  It’s ok to talk about race! panel discussion.

The event will consist of a lively and enlightening discussion followed by Q&A on the challenges and opportunities for both businesses and BAME individuals.  It will also provide a great networking opportunity for individuals looking to embark on a career in law.
