As part of a month-long Inner Temple exchange between the English Bar,The Bar Council, and the Paris Bar, Avocat Burreau Paris, Jim Duffy has addressed the elected body that oversees the work of Paris’s 27,000 avocats.

Jim explained the diverse means by which the rights of vulnerable witnesses and protected parties are safeguarded in England & Wales, Scotland and across Europe. The session was chaired by the President of the French Bar, the Bâtonnier de Paris.

Jim has since returned to practice in England having worked on French clinical negligence and human rights cases with the advocates Benjamin Pitcho and Mila Petkova.
