Alasdair Henderson is representing the Whig Party in the Bethnal Green & Bow constituency at the upcoming elections. The recently resurrected Whig party was a champion of liberal values in the 18th and 19th centuries. Alasdair says, as quoted in The Times (23.04.15), Modern Whigs “are very concerned about the legal aid reforms, suggestions that a Tory government might ditch the Human Rights Act, and moves to constrain judicial review.”
