Peter Skelton is acting for the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPC) in the Leveson (phone hacking) inquiry. This body, headed by the Mayor of London, was formerly the Metropolitan Police Authority and was responsible for the oversight of the Metropolitan Police Service.
