Chambers is delighted to congratulate Angus McCullough and Philippa Whipple on their appointment as Queen’s Counsel. Both started their careers as pupils at 1 Crown Office Row. Angus was called to the Bar in 1990 and Philippa in 1994 (after a short career as a solicitor). This will bring the number of silks at 1COR to 21, 7 of whom are female (we believe no other set in England and Wales has more female QCs).
