Public Inquiries

Suzanne brings substantial experience and insight into public inquiries, gained through her involvement representing Core Participants and as part of the Counsel to the Inqiury team in several high-profile inquiries including the Sheku Bayoh Public Inquiry (member of the Counsel Team representing the Chief Constable of Police Scotland); the  Covid Inquiry (representing DEFRA and the Secretary of State for Scotland in Module 1 and Module 2A respectively); the Al Sweady Public Inquiry (representing , and the Robert Hamill Inquiry (member of the Counsel to the Inquiry team). She has also been instructed in environmental inquiries on behalf of the Environmental Agency.

Her knowledge of environmental, healthcare, and police law enables her to act for a diverse range of clients on a wide array of issues. Whether acting for government bodies, regulators, or interested parties, Suzanne brings a rigorous, client-focused approach and is accustomed to dealing with large amounts of evidence and complex procedural issues.
