Allyna accepts instructions on behalf of individuals, corporations, and public authorities across a range of public law areas.  Her experience in public law includes being instructed on and assisting with:

  • Bayswater Support Group v Health Research Authority: Judicial review challenge to the approval of the clinical trial of puberty blockers for children experiencing gender dysphoria
  • X v Ministry of Justice: Claim by a prisoner for discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation
  • O’Carroll v Meta: Data protection High Court challenge against personalised advertising by Meta
  • Anon v World Athletics: Sports arbitration challenge to gender regulations involving Convention rights
  • Conducting various research projects, including research for the McCullough Review on Articles 8 and 10 ECHR, and for the government on closed material procedures and the application of Article 8 in immigration case law
