Alice has acted on behalf of Regulators and Registrants across a range of regulatory bodies, and in particular as concerns Interim Orders and substantive hearings. She has appeared before regulatory panels and in the High Court.

As of 2 June 2025, Alice has been appointed for a three-year term to the Fitness to Practice Referral Panel for the Association for Nutrition. This involves assessing whether concerns raised regarding a registrant’s Fitness to Practise should or should not be escalated to the Fitness to Practise Investigation Panel.

Alice is a case presenter on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council in numerous cases arising out of suspected fraudulent exam-results undertaken at the Yunnik Technologies Test Centre, Ibadan, Nigeria. She is part of a team of barristers undertaking such cases against 48 NMC Registrants, the first of which took place in March 2024.

  • NMC v AkinolaSucceeding in proving charges of fraudulent entry, leading to removal of Ms Akinola’s entry on the NMC Register and an interim suspension order.
  • NMC v GbenroSuccessful application for hearsay evidence, and succeeding in proving charges of fraudulent entry. A colleague dealt with the subsequent directions.
