Alice Irving joins chambers as a third six pupil, having completed pupillage at another top public law set.
Before coming to the bar, Alice worked for several years as a Stipendiary Lecturer in Law at the University of Oxford. She also has experience as a research assistant to academics and the Law Commission. She contributed to the Law Commission’s report on misconduct in public office.
Alice has volunteered with Oxford Pro Bono Publico, providing research to JUSTICE’s report on ‘Neither Confirm Nor Deny’ and OPBP’s Legal Clinics Project. Alice has also interned at the Women’s Legal Centre in Cape Town, South Africa and the Crown Law Office in Wellington, New Zealand.
