Inquests

Alasdair regularly represents families, doctors, public bodies and other properly interested persons at inquests. He deals with a broad range of complex and sensitive inquests; recent cases including representing the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in relation to various deaths potentially caused by complications of Covid vaccines, and acting for the Home Office in the inquest into the death of Leaonard Farruku on the Bibby Stockholm barge.

He wrote the chapters on ‘Police Inquests’ and ‘Deaths in the Workplace’ in The Inquest Book (ed. Cross, Garnham, Arhesty and Hill, 2025, Hart, Oxford).
