Jim Duffy has been instructed on behalf of a number of applicants to the Harrods Redress Scheme, set up to compensate survivors of abuse perpetrated by former Harrod’s owner, Mohammed Al Fayed.
The allegations concerning Fayed include trafficking, rape, sexual assault and psychological abuse. Earlier in March, police interviewed three women under caution on suspicion of offences human trafficking and facilitating rape.
In February, Natalie Fleet MP asked the Prime Minister to establish a national inquiry into Fayed’s abuse. Speaking in Parliament, Fleet told Sir Keir Starmer that “these are our victims, this is our Epstein.”
