Emma‑Louise Fenelon appeared in a hearing before Coppel J seeking permission to bring contempt proceedings pursuant to CPR 81.3(5) against Debbie O’Connell, a para‑athlete who had been found fundamentally dishonest following a two‑week High Court trial in July 2025. Permission was granted and a contempt trial is due to be heard later this year.
