Benjamin Seifert has been chosen to succeed Hugh Mercer KC as the Bar Council representative to the UK delegation of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE). The CCBE is the voice of the European legal profession which represents more than one million European lawyers.
After Brexit the UK is an affiliate member of the Council. Benjamin will be attending the plenary session today in Paris.
