We are delighted to welcome Matthew Leitch and Leo Kirby as full tenants today. Matthew and Leo are joining 1COR after successfully completing their pupillages with us and are both building strong practices in all of Chambers’ practice areas.
During pupillage, Matthew gained experience across a wide range of Chambers’ practice areas. He has a particular interest in all aspects of medical, employment, and public/human rights law. Prior to joining chambers, he conducted research into genetic disclosure as a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Cambridge and has published in leading journals including the Modern Law Review and the Journal of Professional Negligence.”
During pupillage, Leo gained experience in pupillage in public and constitutional law, clinical negligence and personal injury, inquiries, inquests, human rights, tax, and immigration law. He now acts as a Consultant to the clinical negligence team of a leading UK law firm. Before pupillage, Leo worked in the Cabinet Office, where he coordinated the UK government’s primary legislative programme into and through Parliament. Leo accepts instructions across all of chamber’s practice areas.
