Clodagh Bradley KC acted on behalf of the family of successful artist, Sarah Cunningham, instructed by Thomas Jervis and Philippa Wheeler of Leigh Day, at her inquest in April 2025. Sarah went missing after a night out in the Camden area in the early hours of 2 November 2024. Sarah had been observed by TfL staff to be in a vulnerable and intoxicated state within the station, close to a platform edge shortly before she stepped off a platform unobserved and went into a tunnel, where she was struck by a train 18 minutes later. The inquest confirmed that Sarah died as a result of an accident and that there was no suicidal intention, in line with the family’s submissions. The Coroner also confirmed she will write a PFD report to TfL to flag her concerns about the procedures in place for managing vulnerable or intoxicated customers.
