Lois Williams has been acting as Counsel to the Covid Inquiry in Module 4. This module is examining a range of issues relating to vaccines and therapeutics in order to learn lessons for any future pandemic. The public hearings which ran for 3 weeks in January 2025 heard from over 40 witnesses including former government ministers, former Chair of the Vaccines Taskforce Dame Kate Bingham and the Chief Medical Officer Professor Sir Chris Whitty.
