Congratulations to Leanne Woods and Natasha Barnes on their promotions on the Attorney General’s A Panel of Counsel, effective from 1st September. We are also delighted to announce that Jim Duffy has been promoted to the Attorney General’s B Panel of Counsel, and Rajkiran Barhey has been appointed to the Attorney General’s C Panel of Counsel.

Leanne Woods specialises in clinical negligence, professional discipline and regulation, inquests and public inquiries, police law, and public law. She also has significant experience in sporting disputes.

Natasha Barnes acts in a variety of sensitive and complex cases focusing on judicial review, indirect tax and other areas of public and human rights law.

Jim Duffy has extensive experience across clinical negligence, inquests and inquiries, personal injury, human rights and tax. He also has particular experience of prison law and employment claims, acting on both sides.

Rajkiran Barhey‘s broad practice encompasses clinical negligence, personal injury, inquests, tax, environmental and planning law, immigration, public law and human rights.

These appointments bring the number of 1 Crown Office Row members on the Attorney General’s Panels up to 22.
