The Brook House Inquiry, chaired by Kate Eves, was set up to investigate the mistreatment of individuals detained at Brook House Immigration Removal Centre (IRC), as shown in the BBC Panorama programme “Under-Cover: Britain’s Immigration Secrets”. The Brook House Inquiry’s second phase of hearings will commence on Monday 21 February 2022. Hearings will be held in the International Dispute Resolution Centre (IDRC), and will be live streamed on the Inquiry’s YouTube channel.

Jo Moore is one of a team of counsel to the Inquiry, led by Brian Altman QC and instructed by Ellis Pinnell. Jo will be questioning a number of witnesses throughout the six week hearing. Alice Kuzmenko is also instructed by the Inquiry, as a junior junior.

Amy Mannion and Jonathan Metzer are representing HM Inspectorate of Prisons, which independently scrutinises conditions in Immigration Removal Centres through inspection visits.
