We are looking forward to being able to celebrate Andrew Kennedy QC taking silk today after the ceremony was delayed due to COvid-19.  Accompanied by their families and Senior Clerk Matthew Phipps, Andrew will be sworn in and receive his ‘letters patent’ at Westminster Hall. The ceremony contains elements which hark back to medieval times with new QCs wearing full court dress, silk gown and breeches, ruffles, jabot, steel buckles and a full bottom wig. This ceremony is followed by a welcome event at the Royal Courts of Justice.
