Following on from his success in Thimmaya v (1) Lancasahire NHS Foundation Trust (2) Mr Jamil, January 2020, Giles Colin obtains a Third Party Costs Order against Dr Mercier, General Dental Surgeon, who had been critical of an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon.

The Judgment in Robinson v Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, 1 October 2021, is a warning to Experts (i) to ensure that they only accept instructions on matters within their expertise; (ii) to help and assist the Court on matters within their expertise; (iii) to keep their duty to the Court under constant review; and, (iv) to understand that their duty to the Court is theirs alone and that it is not for another party to police that duty.
