On 22nd June 2021, the Birthrights Inquiry held the first evidence session as part of it’s ongoing investigation into disparities in maternal outcomes for ethnic minorities. Shaheen Rahman QC is acting as Chair of this Inquiry with a panel of experts with maternity and legal expertise and lived experience to look at this issue.
