The Inquests into the deaths of those who were killed during the course of the Fishmongers’ Hall terror attack on 29 November 2019.

Usman Khan, a convicted terrorist who had been automatically released on licence fatally stabbed Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones, two Cambridge graduates working for the Learning Together rehabilitation organisation. Khan was then fatally shot by armed officers on London Bridge. Neil Sheldon QC acted as leading counsel for the Secretaries of State for Justice and the Home Department in the Inquests. The jury returned an unlawful killing conclusion in respect of Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones, and a lawful killing conclusion in respect of Usman Khan.
