In honour of Black History month, Oxford University have put together list of 100 people, past and present, who have contributed to the calibre of Oxford University’s reputation and understanding of Black experiences. These names were nominated by member/s of the university including students, staff, alumni and donors and hve been compiled in no particular order.

Martin Forde QC was put forward by Brasenose College in recognition of his role as Independent Advisor to the Windrush Scandal, recent appointment to lead the Labour Party’s investigation into a leaked report regarding anti-semitism in the party as well as his advocacy regarding the impact of COVID-19 on key workers.
