The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) is investigating whether there were child protection failures by public authorities regarding the abuse of children in the care of Lambeth Council.

At virtual hearings, the Inquiry will consider the evidence of victims and survivors and examine whether there were child protection failures by public authorities, including the police and council. Most recently, this has included hearing about the experiences of survivors and victims from Shirley Oaks children’s home, which you can read more about here.

Iain O’Donnell is representing a group of victims and survivors, instructed by Slater and Gordon.
