Barristers from 1 Crown Office Row (London and Brighton) have been working with the Sutton Trust to run remote outreach sessions after the students’ planned Easter work experience placements were cancelled during lockdown. 21 members of chambers volunteered to discuss the legal profession with high achieving A-Level students from underrepresented backgrounds.

It was fantastic speaking to so many interested students about becoming a barrister, daily life and the different areas of law and answering excellent questions about the legal profession. Thank you to Gemma Collins and the Sutton Trust for setting this up, and wishing these students all the best with the rest of their programme.
