Clodagh Bradley QC is instructed by Thomas Jervis of Leigh Day to act on behalf of the family of Owen Carey at the inquest into his death. He died after eating a grilled chicken breast from Byron Burger, not knowing that it had been marinated in buttermilk as the menu did not say this.  Owen was allergic to dairy and wheat.  He suffered an anaphylactic reaction and died on 22 April 2017, shortly after his 18th birthday.

The part-heard inquest is due to resume in Southwark Coroner’s Court on 12 and 13 September 2019.
