He looks at the two recent cases of Lucy Diamond v Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust [2019] EWCA Civ 58 and Ollosson v Lee [2019] EWHC 784 (QB) to highlight the importance of proving both what advice should have been given and causation based on this advice.
