Emma-Louise Fenelon represented the family of a 28 year old man found unconscious in a bath on a mental health ward following a suicide attempt two days previously. The Coroner delivered a narrative conclusion, finding that the Deceased, who was diabetic, had fallen unconscious as a result of a hyperglycaemic episode, in circumstances where it was not clear why he failed to react to the symptoms with which he would have been familiar.

Emma was instructed by Julia Cotterill at Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA). More information on the inquest is available on the BBC here.
