Jeremy Hyam QC successful in obtaining healthcare employment/disciplinary injunction for Consultant Anaesthetist against his employing Trust. He was instructed by Ian Sadler of Radcliffes Le Brasseur.
Dr Gregg is a consultant anaesthetist at North West Anglia NHS Trust who is being investigated by the police and the GMC with respect to the alleged inappropriate hastening of several patient deaths. At a final injunction hearing before Justine Thornton QC, the Court granted injunctive relief against the Trust to prevent the Trust from proceeding with their disciplinary hearings in respect of two patients which are currently also under investigation by the police, pending a charging decision being made by the CPS. The Court also prevented the Trust from stopping his pay on the ground that he had been suspended from practice by the GMC.
