This year Shaheen Rahman QC and Matthew Hill both spoke at the annual Justice Human Rights Law Conference on Friday 13 October, held at the London offices of Freshfields. Both were delighted to have participated in such a successful and stimulating event.

Shaheen provided an analysis of recent developments in judicial review, focusing in particular on fees, costs and access to justice.

Matthew spoke about public inquiries and inquests, looking at the lessons to be drawn from the various investigations into Bloody Sunday and the Hillsborough stadium disaster and how they could be applied today.
